What You Will Learn

Being a beginner gardener is an amazing thing. That's why I created an E-book that would be the perfect guide to growing your first garden or if you want to just dig a little deeper into gardening. I wanted to make this guide as simple and straightforward as possible so you knew what to worry about and what not to. Here are a few of the main things you will learn.

Design

Whether you want to know what to consider when creating your own design or you want a raised bed design to begin with. This section will help you not matter your needs in design.

Seed Starting

If you have wanted to try, in this E-book there is a whole section about how to begin. It is straightforward and simple about the process and a great place to start exploring starting your own seeds.

Filling Your Beds

For most beginners, it can be hard to know how to fill your beds with soil, mulch, and top soi. What do you actually need? What to watch for? What is harmful to the environment? I will clear the air.

What to Grow

I know this sounds silly but it can be hard to figure out. Also, many beginners start with the wrong things or too many of one plant. We can help avoid those things. I will give you my favorite veggie suggestions and more.

When to Begin

What things do you direct seed? What things do you need starts for? When do I know if my last frost has passed? But also what does that mean? No worries I got you here.

Pest and Weeds?!

Every gardener has them and there isn't a way to avoid them but we can do a couple of simple things to make them less annoying and overwhelming as beginner gardeners while still caring for the ecosystem.

Common Mistakes

We all make them, but knowing ahead what the pitfalls may be in gardening, make them less hard to swallow when they for sure will happen. This will make you less stressed and enjoy the process.

Succession Planting

Though this is a slightly more advanced idea, I have simplified it into a mostly foolproof concept for you so you can begin practicing this idea in your garden. A simple phrase to keep it accessible no matter your skill level.

Ending the Season

How do you finish it all your first growing season? Do you remove plants? Do you not? The questions are quite big here, but I simplify it all for you so you feel less overwhelmed and like you aren't making any big mistakes.
